Intercontinental Champion: Hunter Henry
The Intercontinental Championship has been called a “stepping stone” to the heavyweight title. When I think of players on the Chargers roster who are “next in line” to do big things, Henry is the first one who comes to mind.
The No. 35 pick in this year’s draft, Henry will spend his first couple seasons learning from Antonio Gates and splitting targets with the future Hall of Famer. However, it won’t be long before the dynamic Arkansas product becomes the No. 1 tight end and a foundational player in San Diego’s offense.
He may be stuck on the midcard for now, but Henry will be a main-event target before you know it.
