There is a reason most league insiders believe it takes three years to properly evaluate a draft class: young players, especially those from smaller schools like Texas State and North Dakota State, take time to develop.
Bolts backers can only hope a lot of development takes place inside the walls of Chargers Park this offseason, because last year’s draft class made a maddeningly minimal impact in 2015. Outside of stud ILB Denzel Perryman, no draftee established himself as a core player … not yet, anyway.
