Draft Debate: Pick Two Diamonds in the Rough

It’s not a matter of if, but when.

At some point during the 2016 NFL Draft, GM Tom Telesco will roll the dice on a small-school prospect. In fact, if history is any indicator, he’ll roll the dice on two.

Statistically, Telesco spends approximately 30 percent of his draft picks on small-school players (5-of-17 picks thus far). That means, with eight picks this year, we can expect at least two players to be drafted from smaller schools.

That leads us to today’s debate question: Which two small-school players should the Chargers select and why?
